A big thank you to all those people who have expressed an interest in our inaugural ULTIMATE DOG FESTIVAL, which is now just two weeks away!
Tickets are selling fast
Preparations and plans are well underway and we anticipate a fabulous family day out for dogs and their humans with something for everyone.
If you are planning to come on Sunday 3rd, and haven’t yet purchased your tickets, please book online as tickets may be restricted on the day. If you plan to come by car, you can book your car parking ticket upfront online for £3. Parking on the day will be £5.
Car parking facilities are available in the adjacent fields and will be managed by a team of professional stewards. Please have your tickets ready when you arrive and have your car parking ticket clearly on view in your windscreen to allow the stewards to get you to your parking place swiftly and avoid congestion on Park Lane.
Disabled car parking will also be available within the Festival grounds. Please have your disabled passes on view.

For the kids there will be three fairground attractions, face painting and Mr Whippy’s ice cream van.
Mini garage, Sytner, will be also be here with their latest models, so even Dad will be happy!
Live Musical Entertainment by Rosie O’Sullivan
We are pleased to announce that X-Factor finalist, local girl Rosie O’Sullivan, will be performing two sessions throughout the afternoon, performing some of the classic pop favourites.
A range of food options for all appetites
A number of food and drink stalls will also be present, including a sumptuous hog roast, so that you can come and make a day of it if you wish. Prosecco and other alcoholic drinks will be available at our licenced bar, Pugs Fizz. Coffee, tea and cake stalls will also be available at our antique coffee room to further tempt you.
Upgrade for the VIP Experience
On the day, you can upgrade your entry ticket to a VIP package. Just speak to one of the team as you enter to organise your upgrade.
Treasure Hunt – prizes for all
There will be a treasure hunt for all the family throughout the day with prizes. Find a raffle ticket to claim your prize.
For the Dogs
A series of dog competitions will also be held, with cash and other prizes for:
* Best medium, large, toy and small breeds
* Best Oldie (+7 years)
* Best Puppy (less than 12 months)
* Best Novelty Trick
* Owner & Dog Lookalike
* Best Rescue/Rehome Dog
* Best Physically Challenged Dog
* Best junior handler and dog
* Best pair of dogs
* Best in Show
A fun agility competition will be held – professionals need not apply! And for the gundogs or wannabe retrievers there will be a scurry.
For dogs who don’t want to compete but still want a bit of fun, our rabbit lure will also be set up.
Be a Guinness World Record holder
The highlight of the day will be an attempt at a Guinness World Record. An authorised attempt to get the record for most dogs seated for 30 seconds will take place, so this is your chance for you and your dogs to be part of a record-winning team.
The staff at Pawpounders will be on hand to greet you and we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on Sunday 3 June.
