Aston Villa Player all set to cut ribbon for new Puppy Play Centre
We’re delighted to announce that, after many weeks of preparations, we’re soon to be opening a brand-new Puppy Play Centre – one of the only dedicated spaces in the UK that’s just for young dogs aged 14+ weeks (after both vaccinations*).
Aston Villa player and customer of Pawpounders, Jacob Ramsey, will be cutting the ribbon this month to mark the official opening, which sees the new area benefit from a separate and fully dedicated puppy area to include a heated in-door play room, outdoor ball pit, quiet corner, toilet training areas and plenty of outdoor space.
Founder of Pawpounders Nick Parkinson says: “Since coming out of lockdown we have noticed a huge surge in the number of dogs suffering from acute anxiety and know that from our many years of experience, such anxieties can be offset by greater socialisation from a young age – and that’s the key reason for opening this dedicated space.
“We are delighted to be one of the few doggy day care companies in the UK to house such a facility and look forward to welcoming many new puppies who we know will benefit from the Centre and from mixing with other dogs of a similar age.
“With everyone now going back to work we know that there will be continued demand for day care – and this new Centre will be the perfect start in life for many new puppies.”
Pawpounders has invested more than £5,000 in the creation of the new Puppy Play Centre and has created four new roles in the process.
Puppy day care at the new Centre is open from 10am-3pm every day and costs £45.00 per day.
*Two weeks after second vaccination
